You may have noticed from my twitter feed that I do enjoy music and following several musicians. In July 2013 I had my first visit to the Cambridge Folk Festival. It was wonderful and among the many great artists, we caught a show from Darrell Scott. This is quite embarrassing but I'd not heard of Darrell before ... (my bad!) but since then have listened to him a lot and also saw him again in London. Amazing how much stuff he's written, that has been recorded and made famous by others. If you like anything related to folk or country (or other music!) have a listen.

One of the many great things about living in the UK is the British Broadcasting Corporation, aka the BBC. One of the many music broadcasters is a guy by the name of Bob Harris and what he doesn't know about contemporary music, of almost any genre, is not worth knowing. If you see this I strongly encourage you to take a look a couple of his websites where you can listen to his recent programmes from Bob Harris Country or Bob Harris Sunday. Fair warning here, it could cost you a lot of money in CD's that you just "have to have" after listening.
